Use of the site

The site is for personal, non-commercial use. Don't scrape it, try to break it, or use it for anything unlawful.

Our stuff

Everything on the site, including Pigeon's Mission, The Known Sector, Archie, the Glowing Cheetah name, logo, artwork, video, text and code, belongs to Glowing Cheetah Studios or our licensors. You can share links and screenshots for personal, non-commercial purposes (fan art and streams are welcome). You can't sell it, claim it as your own, or use it to make products without written permission.

Third-party links

We link to Steam, YouTube, X, Discord and other services. Those sites have their own terms and privacy policies, and we're not responsible for them.

No warranties

The site is provided as is. We do our best to keep it accurate and available, but we don't guarantee it will be error-free or uninterrupted. To the fullest extent allowed by law, Glowing Cheetah Studios isn't liable for any damages arising from your use of the site.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top tells you when they last changed. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the new terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

What we collect

We don't ask you to create an account and we don't run a contact form. If you email us, we get your email address and whatever you write. When you visit the site, our analytics tools automatically collect technical information: pages viewed, time on page, clicks and scrolling, approximate location (city or country level, from your IP address), device type, browser, operating system, screen size and referring site.

Analytics we use

We use two third-party services to understand how people use the site. Both set cookies or use similar identifiers in your browser.

• Google Analytics (Google LLC) measures traffic and usage, such as which pages are popular and where visitors come from. IP addresses are anonymized. Learn how Google uses data at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. You can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
• Microsoft Clarity (Microsoft Corporation) records behavioral data like mouse movement, clicks and scrolling, and produces heatmaps and session replays so we can see how the site is used and where it's confusing. Clarity masks text input by default. Learn more in the Microsoft Privacy Statement. Microsoft may also use this data to improve its own products and for advertising, as described there.

Cookies

Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity use cookies and local storage to tell one visit from another. We don't use advertising cookies of our own. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site will still work.

How we use it

To run and improve the site, to see which projects and pages people care about, to fix problems, and to reply when you write to us. We don't sell your personal information.

Sharing

Analytics data is processed by Google and Microsoft as described above. Beyond that, we only share information if the law requires it or to protect our rights.

Retention

Google Analytics data is kept for up to 14 months. Microsoft Clarity keeps session data for up to 30 days and aggregated data for up to 13 months. Emails you send us are kept as long as we need them to respond and keep records.

Kids

Glowing Cheetah was co-founded by a kid, and we make things kids enjoy, but this website is not directed at children under 13 and we don't knowingly collect personal information from them. If you think a child has sent us personal information, email us and we'll delete it.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example the EU, UK or California), you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal information we hold about you, or to object to how we use it. Email hello@glowingcheetah.com and we'll sort it out.
